International Women's Day

15 Free Resources for Teachers and Learners

Monday, March 8th, 2021, marks International Women’s Day. International Women’s Day (IWD), as well as Women’s History Month, represents an amazing opportunity to recognize and celebrate half of the human population! Founded in 1911 and represented by the colours purple (justice and dignity), green (hope), IWD celebrates female achievements in history, raises awareness about women’s equality, lobbies for gender parity, and raises money for female-focused charities. This list has been carefully curated for Teachers and Educators of children aged 7-14, in the US, Canada, the UK and Ireland. Download the IWD teacher resources pack, discover historic women who’ve paved the way for gender equality, or watch short films championing women and girls. Everyone is sure to learn something new this month with our resources. Let us know what you think of our collection!
