The goal is to inform administrators and teachers about the atrocities that have been perpetuated against the BIPOC community, Jews, and other historically marginalized groups. (This also includes certain immigrant populations who were told they had to earn their whiteness. However, this shall be done without diminishing the experience of Blacks, Latinx, Asians and other POC.)
The workshop will emphasize how this form of education educate about the amount of oppression that has been levied at each ethnic group but it will also help minds to connect the dots of how micro our differences really are. The goal is to help adults help future generations understand the division that keeps us from improving the human race.

Learning Objectives
- Learn about little-known-but-true history of injustices perpetrated against BIPOC, Jewish and other historically marginalized communities (in the United States).
- Recognize how racism and white supremacy perpetuate false notions of race and reinforces inter-group conflict amongst marginalized communities.
- Develop the vocabulary to teach these historical events in a respectful and age-appropriate way.
- Understand how this information can be used to bridge gaps between ethnic communities.
- Gain new understanding of our differences and similarities.

My journey for advocating for historically marginalized groups began with me doing a lot of grassroots work such as organizing, lobbying, canvassing and phone banking. I collaborated with several organizations while doing this work before founding my company Conduit LLC, through which I continue to advocate for historically marginalized groups within the diversity, equity and inclusion field. I am a proponent of adding a historical context to trainings and workshops to help members of the white community be able to identify their blind spots and privilege, which both continue to help perpetuate systemic racism and an oppressive patriarchal system.
